- Methods: All suitable methods can be applied.
- Procedure: 2 Samples with animal ingredients in a Vegan Burger Powder are provided for qualitative determination. One of the samples is a negative sample (< 0.1%) and one is a positive sample with at least two animal components (> 0.1%).
- Evaluation: All available results (from DNA-based as well as protein-based methods) should be considered to assess whether the final decision for the samples is “vegan compliant” or not (animal ingredients < 0.1% or > 0.1%). The evaluation of results is strictly qualitative with indication of the obtained agreements with the consensus values of the participants and with the spiking of samples.
Additionally, a qualitative evaluation is done for all available parameters separately for the following groups of methods: protein-based methods (e.g. ELISA, IEF, MALDI-TOF, LC-MS) and DNA-based methods (e.g. PCR-techniques, NGS, Microarrays). - Shipping costs: currently € 12,50 in Germany, € 40 into EU-Countries and Europe, € 80 other Countries, all prices are provisional and subject to change
