ptAL10 (2027) Allergens X: Gluten (Barley Malt, Hordeum vulgare) in „gluten-free“ Beer [Samples A + B]
- Allergen-PTs (qualitative / quantitative) - Accredited Program ISO/IEC 17043 -
- Test items: 2 different beer samples A + B (50 mL each)
- Methods: All suitable methods can be applied, e.g. ELISA, LFD, PCR, LC-MS.
- Procedure: Two samples of beer are provided for qualitative and quantitative determination of the respective allergens. One of these samples contains the spiked or incurred allergen(s).
- Evaluation: The evaluation is carried out qualitatively (positive/negative) and from a total of 5 results on quantitatively. It includes kernel density estimation, outlier tests, robust mean, robust standard deviation and z-scores. Whenever possible as per statistical verification, a collective consensus value is calculated from all participants' results, regardless of the analytical test kit used (joint evaluation). Additionally individual consensus values are applied for the results of each ELISA kit brand in separate evaluations for ≥ 5 results.
