- Single Proficiency Test: This proficiency test format is for a single participant laboratory. It is possible to participate individually and flexibly at any time, even outside the regular PT program. The target values (assigned values) of the SPT test material are determined on the basis of known reference values from previous PTs / inter laboratory tests, contents of spiked analytes (reference standard) or by reference laboratories.
- Test items: 6 samples (20 g each)
- Methods: All suitable methods can be applied.
- Procedure: A kind of calibration set of 6 samples of the allergen in a specific matrix is provided for qualitative determination including a „blank sample“ (matrix). The allergen levels of the sample row range from 1/10 to at least twice the Action Level 1 (VITAL concept 3.0) and judgement value of the German Commission ALTS/ALS (for gluten according to EU regulation 828/2014).
- Evaluation: The SPT-results are evaluated qualitatively in scores of 1-5 (score 3 = Action Level successfully identified). Quantitative results will be reported for information.
- Shipping costs: currently € 12,50 in Germany, € 40 into EU-Countries and Europe, € 80 other Countries, all prices are provisional and subject to change
